Asentria Remote Site Monitoring products help integrate non-SNMP and non-networked devices and conditions into your network management system. This allows you to manage the whole enterprise. The products effectively reduce the risk from unseen threats to your data centers, server farms, cellular towers, or any unmanned location.

The SiteBoss
Series products help you detect and control remote
site factors such as non-networked, non-SNMP
devices and environmental conditions which
otherwise remain dangerously outside the scope
of your network management system (NMS), while
providing security sufficient to satisfy even the
most stringent requirements.

IDEAL USE:The SiteBoss™ 412 is a cost-effective solution for monitoring devices and environmental
conditions in remote enclosures and unmanned equipment sites. The S412 converts contact
closure inputs, temperature and humidity to SNMP trap alarms, while providing output
relays to control remote devices. Additionally the S412 gives you in-band
pass-through remote access to a single serial device located at your remote site.
IDEAL USE: Remote Cabinet Monitoring and Remote Access - The S410 can be used in remote cabinets or enclosures, from small BTS locations up to large walk-in enclosures. This small device supports remote environmental monitoring such as temperature, humidity, water, smoke, entry, motion, and airflow within these remote locations. The S410 delivers alarms “in-band” via ethernet only, and is specifically designed to be integrated with an SNMP software. The S410 also has a single ethernet to serial terminal server capability. The S410 is available for operation in a -48VDC or +24VDC environment as well as standard AC environments. The S410 has a wide operating temperature range for small cabinets without a controlled temperature.
SiteBoss™ 530 - Remote Site Manager
IDEAL USEs:
1) Remote Cabinet Monitoring and Remote Access - The S530 can be used in remote cabinets or enclosures, from small BTS locations up to large walk-in enclosures. This device supports remote environmental monitoring, power monitoring from both AC and DC sources, generator fuel levels, fuse panels, and monitoring of inherently non-SNMP type equipment such as HVAC, UPS, etc. The device also supports remote access to a remote site via ethernet, POTS, wireless modems (EDGE, GPRS, GSM). The S530 is specifically designed to notify an SNMP software, but other methods of notification are also possible.
2) Monitoring of Server Equipment Rooms - The S530 can be used in network equipment rooms primarily for environmental monitoring. The device supports environmental monitoring over larger areas and within specific cabinets within a room. Common environmental factors monitored are temperature, humidity, water, smoke, entry, motion, and airflow. The S530 can support power monitoring from both AC and DC sources. The S530 is specifically designed to notify an SNMP software, but other methods of notification are also possible.

The S550 is differentiated from other SiteBoss products by its specialized scripting and security abilities. Scripting (LUA) enables a user to customize monitoring abilities. Additional security methods allow the use of the S550 in the most security conscious environments.

SiteBoss™ 570 - Remote Site Manager
IDEAL USE: Remote Cabinet Monitoring and Control - The S570 is a powerful Linux-based hardware product with a number of specialized features, and is specifically designed for use in a DC power environment. Like the rest of the SiteBoss product line, it can be used to monitor environmental conditions, batteries, or other equipment. It is particularly designed to be used in new cellular or broadband wireless sites in Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) for two purposes. One is that the S570 is to be used specifically as a DC power control device. All the power to the equipment in a remote BTS location is connected through the 10 relays within the S570 unit. This allows the unit to reboot any piece of attached equipment in the remote site. The other purpose, which is common to most other SiteBoss products, is remote wireless (GPRS, EDGE) modem connectivity. This allows for connectivity to the remote BTS location should a primary connectivity method, like Microwave backhaul, fail. “The S570’s combined ability to do DC reboot and wireless modem access to BTS is the primary purpose of the unit.”

The Model SL81 is a network peripheral devices that allows
you to monitor and manage non-SNMP elements with your existing SNMP software, or
free Asentria AlarmManager software. The SNMP-Link Remote Site Manager products serve
three important functions: remote device monitor, terminal server, and remote environmental
monitor. Now you can monitor and control a variety of remote conditions that can
cripple your business operations.

IDEAL USE:EventSensor devices offer on-board temperature sensor, humidity sensor, and contact closure inputs to monitor threatening physical conditions. They help protect your servers, phone systems and critical data from a variety of threats, especially in unmanned rooms. Learn more about these devices here

IDEAL USE: Combine with the communications capability of a SiteBoss or TeleBoss unit to monitor any non-networked device that contains a dry contact closure output, such as UPS units, air conditioning units, rectifiers, generator sets, MUXs, PBXs, and other equipment.

The PowerBoss One is an accessory for Asentria site monitoring products such as the SiteBoss 550 that allows you to control power with up to 8 pieces of equipment located in your remote sites. The PB1 allows you to use your choice of AC or DC power on each of its control points. Thus you can power cycle both -48 and 24vdc equipment and also any 110VAC or 220VAC equipment you have as well.
