Ideal Use

The PowerBoss PB-R30 is well suited for the following application:

DC Power Control for Cabinet Devices - The PB-R30 provides DC power control for high consumption devices in remote locations such as WiMAX radios or switches allowing the ability to reboot remote equipment at up to 30 Amps for load voltages of up to 60 VDC. The PB-R30 is ideally suited for use with a SiteBoss device that includes a wireless modem and relay expansion card. This product combination allows out-of-band access and reboot abilities for higher voltage devices in remote DC powered locations. The PB-R30 has no mechanical contacts, so the number of relay switching cycles is significantly higher than that of a typical mechanical relay.

Stable, Reliable Cycling

The PB-R30 is designed to cycle high current equipment to ensure continued operation and stability. It can be used in remote cabinets or enclosures, and mounts in any direction for ease of configuration.



Expansion Card Connectivity

The PB-R30 can be connected directly to an S570 relay or used with any Expansion Card capable Asentria unit loaded with a relay Expansion Card. For more information on Expansion Cards, contact Sales.
